Secondment in Dance
Australasian Dance Collective offers the opportunity for dancers to have an immersive experience amongst the ADC company artists and artistic team. We invite expressions of interest from tertiary students studying dance, graduates and professional dancers, to undertake a week-long or, by invitation, an extended secondment with the collective.
Each day you will work alongside the ADC artists, enriching your practice and either participate in creative development or engage with current company repertoire. It is an invaluable opportunity to train with some of Australia’s best dancers, while also promoting your own abilities and interests to a leading contemporary dance company.
Cost applies and places are limited.
Secondment in Production
Australasian Dance Collective offers opportunities for tertiary students studying technical production to undertake a secondment or work experience placement with the company.
Your experience with the company will include time alongside the Production Manager and seasonal production staff, learning the techniques and methodologies behind the use of lighting, sound, vision and staging in contemporary dance, as part of a company at the forefront of fusing technological innovation with live performance.
