Echo
ADC Youth Ensemble
Echo, our Youth Ensemble’s signature season, is a bold expression of self and collective, individuality and synergy through the presentation of new works that highlight the importance of providing platforms for our younger generations of dance artists.
A collaborative creative process is at the core of each work, challenging our young artists to explore deeply personal themes with vulnerability, honesty and courage.
We are thrilled to welcome AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre to once again share in our season with an original work, alongside two brand new works by Queensland creators Kate Harman and ADC Youth Ensemble Director Courtney Scheu.
Join us in the foyer to view a series of student-made short films created in collaboration between the ADC Youth Ensemble and AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre under the mentorship of renowned dance filmmaker Claire Marshall.

Our Youth Ensemble comprises like-minded dancers aged 14-19, who share the same passions and creative pathways. Creativity is at the forefront of our program and Australasian Dance Collective aims to enrich, inspire and support the young dancers of our community.
We acknowledge the First Nations people as the Traditional Owners of Meanjin (Brisbane).
Australasian Dance Collective acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their deep connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
