4000 Studios

4000 Studios is an artist-run, independent music studio collective in Brisbane, the largest of its kind in Australia. We have come together to shape a creative hub that aims to be greater than its parts. Our 14 custom-built studios are the home to an inclusive community of songwriters, artists, producers, engineers and everything in between.

Most of our rooms are occupied by permanent tenants, who have equipped their spaces according to their needs. However, our three writing rooms and recently completed ATMOS-studio can be booked on a daily or semi-permanent basis.

Our studio community is at the heart of what we do: We collaborate on a daily basis, hold regular get-togethers, and provide our extended family of over 50+ professionals with access to exclusive writing camps, job offers and industry events.

Additionally, we have launched a highly successful talent program, which has provided over 20 creatives from underrepresented backgrounds access to studios and mentoring in 22/23. The goals of "4000 Talents" are to help lay the foundation of sustainable music careers, to boost diversity and collaboration amongst the community, and to tell compelling stories that inspire others to pursue creative careers.
