ADC is passionate about offering Professional Development for dance educators.
Our FOCUS workshops are aligned to support educators with expansion and development of skills relevant to current curriculum (Y7-12) and feature a variety of contemporary dance techniques, choreographic development, repertoire and discussion.
We facilitate professional development days for educators annually. FOCUS workshops are held in ADC's Studio, with a focus on physical and creative practice, or presented online with a focus on creating dance for the digital realm.

Join us for this stimulating and energising professional development day led by ADC’s Artistic Director Amy Hollingsworth and Rehearsal Director and Choreographer Gabrielle Nankivell.
For this year’s FOCUS / Live Professional Development Day we explore site specific choreography, with useful activities and strategies that support curriculum and engage your students in developing their improvisation and choreographic skills.
Through the lens of cultivating creativity, and a collaborative approach reflective of the Company, we will empower and inspire you with new skills and creative tools to meet the demands of the curriculum and the goals you desire to achieve with your students.
